Myths about Time Management:
- Procrastination is always bad: While chronic procrastination is harmful, occasional procrastination can lead to fresh perspectives and better decision-making. There is creative procrastination which is helpful. It means that you intentionally delay tasks to give your mind time to come up with new and innovative ideas. (Later we talk about it)
- Busy means productive: Being constantly busy doesn’t necessarily equate to being productive. It’s more about how effectively you use your time rather than how much time you spend on tasks.
- You can manage time: Time itself cannot be managed; it’s fixed and keeps moving forward. What you can manage are your actions and priorities within that time.
- You can’t be a Successful Person Without Time Management: Success depends more on making good decisions than just managing time. A successful person doesn’t follow traditional time management methods. He relies on his experience and intuition instead.
- You can be perfect all the time: Not every time in our life goes well. The idea that we can always use time well is wrong. It does not always have to be perfect, but we have to make decisions according to the situation of life.
